I missed quite a few great Chicago restaurants in my time here, so I’ll just state the ones that excite me, the ones I’ll be giving the 3 month reservation for:
- Alinea (apparently, according to Andy Hayler – a man who has made it his mission to review all 3 star Michelin restaurants – one of only a few restaurants in America to compare to European standards)
- EL Ideas – Incredibly innovative, apparently.
- Goosefoot – $90 8-course prix fixe, what’s there not to like.
- Topolobambo (dinner) – Rick Bayless’s finest hour.
